Editorial Standards

Stucci Media is an independent American news and podcast network founded in 2014 by Rocci J. Stucci. These are the standards every story we publish is held to.

Sourcing

Every news story is built from at least three independent sources, including at least one primary source: a court filing, bill text, agency release, official data or a direct statement. We link the sources we rely on so readers can check the work themselves. If we can’t verify a claim, it doesn’t run.

Fairness

On political stories we present the strongest version of each side’s case. We attribute claims to the people and institutions making them. In crime coverage we never call anyone a suspect or perpetrator unless law enforcement or the courts have.

News, features and opinion

News reporting tells you what happened and why it matters. Mystery and unexplained-phenomena pieces run as labeled features: we present claims as claims and always include the strongest skeptical explanation. Commentary from Rocci and our hosts is labeled as opinion.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help research, organize sources and draft stories. A person chooses every story, every story is checked against its sources before it is published, and the publisher stands behind everything under the Stucci Media name. We do not use AI to generate photos of real people or events. Illustrations are labeled as illustrations.

Images

We use real, properly licensed photographs whenever they exist, with a credit on every image. Graphics we create are labeled “Graphic: Stucci Media.”

Sponsored and partner content

Paid or promotional content is clearly labeled as partner content. Advertisers and partners never control our news coverage.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. See our corrections policy.
