In addition, he served as Chief Dentist, demonstrating his advanced understanding of oral health, and as Director of Medicinal Plants, a role emphasizing his leadership in the cultivation and use of plants for healing purposes. The tomb attributed to him is adorned with a painted false door, a symbolic feature commonly found in ancient Egyptian burial architecture, and it also contains thoughtfully depicted scenes of funeral offerings, providing insights into rituals and beliefs associated with the afterlife.
Although there is evidence suggesting that burial grounds from that time period were often subject to ancient looting, Fu’s tomb has remarkably remained undisturbed and intact, according to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
